Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia sign Agreement on establishment of Joint Business Council
On December 19, Baku held the 7th meeting of the Joint Commission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, technology, culture, sports and youth, SIA refers to press service of Azerbaijan's KOBIA.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Agreement on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council was signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Federation of Chambers of Saudi Arabia. The document was signed by Orkhan Mammadov, head of the Board of Directors of KOBIA, and Ahmed Al Dakhil, co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council.
The Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council, which will be represented by members of business communities from both countries, will support entrepreneurs' initiatives, help establish direct partnership relations between businessmen, organize mutual visits, meetings, seminars, round tables and other events, and exchange information between business circles.
In his speeches at the meeting of the commission and at the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Investment Forum, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov informed about the cooperation between KOBIA and the relevant institutions of Saudi Arabia, that KOBIA will continue its activities to expand relations between the business circles of two countries. The Chairman emphasized that the Council will contribute to the further strengthening of trade relations by developing cooperation between business communities.
The chairman of KOBIA invited businessmen to actively cooperate with the business council and join this platform.
