91 prisoners have escaped from the "Parnamirim"regional prison located in the Rio Grande do Norte state of the northeastern region of Brazil. UOL information portal and TASS information agency spreaded the news. It`s the biggest prison escape in the history of the state. Since now, only 9 prisoners have been arrested and returned to the jail. Law enforcement officials said that the escape was organized through the tunnel under the prison wall drilled 30 metres in length. It was reported that although "Parnamirim" regional prison is considered for 436 prisoners, there were 589 prisoners at the time when the accident occurred.
