Russia's top investigative agency has accused exiled tycoon and former prisoner Mikhail Khodorkovsky of involvement in the 1998 killing of a Siberian mayor.
"As a result of investigative work, we managed to obtain new information and in light of this, it was decided on December 11, 2015, to prosecute Mikhail Khodorkovsky as a defendant for ... the organisation of murder," Russia's Investigative Committee said in a statement.
Mr Khodorkovsky, who now lives in Switzerland, has dismissed the accusations as completely untrue.
