An 18-year-old girl who was tortured and humiliated for eight hours by her ‘friends’ has spoken of the horrifying incident.
Summer Gregg was 17 when she visited the flat of Jay Blades, 20, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, where James Canning, 20, and Amy Gaines, 21, were also present.
However as soon as she entered the flat and met the people she considered her friends, Ms Gregg said she knew something was wrong.
She later found out that the trio were ‘plotting’ against her by sending text messages to one another.
The group told Ms Gregg her boyfriend was cheating on her, and reportedly became ‘aggressive’ when she didn’t believe them. When she tried to leave Ms Gaines stopped her and started slapping her around the face.
"They were kicking me, punching me, slapping me and shouting things at me. At one point Jay had one of those motorbike chains and he started hitting me with it,’ she said.
