Traffic in Yerevan’s Bagramian avenue has resumed as police forced demonstrators who blocked the street on Friday evening to leave.
SIA reports quoting Armenian media that police used excessive force.
The deadline the police set for the demonstrators to go expired at 05:00 local time. Police broke through the line of some 60 picketers and forced them out of the road. Several activists were detained.
Road washer trucks are cleaning the street.
