A high-ranking diplomat at the Swedish Embassy in Moscow has been declared persona non grata by Russian Foreign Ministry and forced to leave Russia in response to Sweden’s measures against a diplomat from the Russian embassy
"The expulsion of the Swedish diplomat is a response to the unfriendly measures by the Swedish authorities against a diplomat of the Russian Embassy in Stockholm," the Foreign Ministry said.
According to the Swedish ministry, Moscow's decision is "unfounded," and will affect the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
