Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the terror problem in the region in separate phone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iraqi President Fuad Masum Sunday.
Leaders have held phone talks, presidential sources said, during which Putin and Masum conveyed condolences to the families of Turkish victims killed in recent terror attacks.
Turkey has had a bitter week with dozens of citizens dying in a wave of terror attacks.
On Wednesday, two police officers were found shot dead at their shared home in Sanliurfa's Ceylanpinar district -- an attack for which the PKK terrorist organization claimed responsibility.
