"Secretary of State John Kerry committed the US diplomats to find a peaceful solution for Nagorno-Karabakh conflict." This statement came from John Heffen , US Ambassador to Armenia.
He reminded that the United States are one of the countries who mediate the conflict and are committed to assist to a peaceful solution in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group.
"We are hoping that there will be a meeting of presidents [of Armenia and Azerbaijan] in a not too distant future," he told.
The message of the co-chairs themselves, he stressed, is very clear and consistent: there’s only one single way to resolve this conflict, and this is peace negotiations. The OSCE co-chairs have strongly condemned violations of the ceasefire and offered condolences for the lives lost at the line of contact [of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan] and the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
