Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said Germany was an important partner for strengthening peace and global and regional stability.
"We value Russian-German relations and the high level of trade and economic cooperation," Putin said at a ceremony of receiving credentials from foreign ambassadors on Friday.
Russia stands for further development of multilateral cooperation with Germany and attaches great importance to the Russian-German bilateral years of language and literature in 2014-2015, he said.
