Israeli forces detained eight Palestinians overnight Sunday, locals and Israel's army said, SIA reports citing Fars News Agency.
Israeli military forces raided an area South of Hebron and detained Ahmad Najeh Harab al-Ajlouni, 18, Amer Rasmi Mahmud al-Ajlouni, 30, Loai al-Sharawi, Nassar Issam Kamal Abu Meizar, 21, and a fifth unidentified man, Ma'an reported.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said eight Palestinians were detained overnight for "suspicion of involvement in illegal activity."
Two were detained in Nablus, one in el-Khader and five in Hebron, she added.
Israel's army routinely arrests Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, usually on the pretext of security questioning.
