Today’s situation in Armenia is the same as it was back in 1920, opposition National Self-Determination Union (NSU) Chairman, ex-presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan stated at a press conference on Tuesday, SIA reports citing NEWS.am.
In Hayrikyan’s words, in 1920, it was Lenin who was selling weapons to Turks, and, now, it is Russian President Vladimir Putin doing the same thing.
"Today, the situation is the same. Everyone works with orders, whereas 40 percent of the population of Armenia is against the Customs Union. Moreover, it tends to maintain its sovereignty," Hayrikyan added.
In the NSU leader’s conviction, if Armenia becomes a member in the Customs Union, this will be the final destruction of the Armenians because, as per Paruyr Hayrikyan, the Russians are doing everything so that Armenia is left without Armenians.
