Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili and the European Union foreign policy Chief Catherine Ashton are scheduled to meet in Istanbul on May 15.
The talks between Jalili, who is also secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, and Ashton will be "follow-up to the last round of negotiations held in Almaty" April 5-6, Ashton’s office announced on Thursday, Fars News Agency reported.
Ashton leads diplomatic contacts with Iran on behalf of the P5+1, which comprises the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia, and Germany.
