The extraordinary meeting was chaired by Martinetti.

Ahmet Ayik, Vice-President of FILA, and a member of the FILA Executive Board Rorika Yaksi joined the meeting from Turkey.

Martinetti asked members of theFILA Executive Board whether or not they thought he was incompetent. Martinetti later asked for a vote of confidence on him.

After a great majority of the FILA Executive Board members voted that he was incompetent, Martinetti announced that he was resigning and he left the meeting.
