Members of the Greece’s ultra-nationalist Golden Dawn party attacked a car of Turkey’s Komotini Consul General Osman İlhan Şener in the Greek city of Kavala on Wednesday. SIA reports quoting Turkish media that, a group of 30 protesters from the Golden Dawn, holding Greek flags, chanted slogans against Turkey outside the Kavala Municipality when Şener was meeting with the city’s mayor Kostas Simichis. The group then attacked the car of Şener. The consul general had to stay within the building for an hour and could only leave the building with the police escort.
