The head of the secretariat of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, Jean-Louis Beltran, has arrived in Azerbaijan.
He is here to discuss preparations for the next meeting of the Euronest assembly, which will be held in Baku in April.
Beltran will meet members of the Azerbaijani parliament and government during his trip.
Euronest is the parliamentary assembly of the EU's Eastern Partnership. It brings together members of the European Parliament and the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova. The membership of Belarus is suspended, following criticism of elections there.
