The contest involved 274 wrestlers from 20 men and 15 women teams. By results of the three contest days our sportsmen won 4 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze awards. Mariya Stadnik (48 kg), Nadya Sementsova (67 kg), Zelimkhan Huseynov (66 kg) and Hetag Gazumov (96 kg) rose to the highest stage of the pedestal.
The second place is taken by Olesya Zamula (63 kg) and the bronze is Yuliya Ratkevich’s (59 kg), Togrul Asgarov (60 kg) and Novruz Temrezov (84 kg).
The 39th international contest in freestyle wrestling Yashar Dogu, involving Azerbaijani representatives, finished in Istanbul.
