FIFA vice-president Michel Platini will attend a Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) hearing on Tuesday for an appeal against a 90-day suspension, his entourage said.
The appeal is part of a new campaign by Platini to get back into the election for a new FIFA leader on February 26.
The 60-year-old Frenchman will go to the CAS tribunal in Lausanne with his lawyers on Tuesday, an aide told AFP.
CAS has promised a decision on his appeal by Friday "at the latest."
