Azerbaijani grandmaster Azer Mirzayev has become the medalist of the 8th Beirut International Open 2015 in Lebanon.
The Azerbaijani grandmaster finished 3rd with 7 points.
Russian grandmaster Sergey Volkov emerged clear winner of the tournament after concluding the race with 8,0/9 points, half a point ahead of GM Kirill Stupak from Belarus.
The Beirut International Open was held from 19-27th September with 84 players from 14 countries. Among them were nine grandmasters.
