Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the establishment of the Organizing Committee for the fourth Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku in 2017.
According to the decree, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the member of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, Mehriban Aliyeva has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the fourth Islamic Solidarity Games.
President Aliyev decided to establish the Organizing Committee for holding the fourth Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku in 2017 to ensure their decent holding in the country.
