Ivana Jandric may be Serbia's only Sambo fighter at Baku 2015. But she still has high aspirations.
"I am really looking forward to the up-coming first European Games. I would like to win a medal in Baku," Jandric said.
A medal would not be a shock considering Jandric has a bronze medal at the 2015 European Sambo Championship. She finished at +80kg but will compete in Baku at 68kg. She also won a silver medal at 68kg at the 2013 World Combat Games.
"I am proud that I can represent my country at such a respected competition. I am very aware of the responsibility of these Games. I would like to have a big success in Baku and represent Serbia with dignity," Jandric said.
