Boneva vows to reach Baku 2015 finals
Bulgarian Antoaneta Boneva has vowed to reach the Pistol Shooting finals at Baku 2015.

Boneva made the pledge to Bulgarian reporters after returning from the Fort Benning ISSF World Cup stage, where she won gold at 10m Air Pistol and took silver in the 25m Pistol competition.

The 29-year-old will compete in both events at the Baku 2015 European Games.

Boneva's victory in Fort Benning was her second World Cup stage, following her first ever win in Fort Benning a year earlier.

Boneva competed at the 2012 Olympics, just missing out on the 10m Air Pistol finals as she finished ninth in the qualification round, from which the top eight advanced.

Boneva still has one more World Cup competition in Munich before Baku 2015.

Bulgaria's Shooting Federation President Maria Grozdeva said Fort Benning was a strong showing for the country's shooters.

"Indeed, this World Cup was really successful for us. I am happy because we started the year well. We already have four medals from the World Cup, two European Championships and it really is quite an achievement," the two-time 25m Pistol Olympic gold medallist Grozdeva told reporters upon return from the United States.
