The DOSB (Germany’s NOC) has adopted an athlete’s accord as well as an honour and commitment declaration for the Baku 2015 European Games.
All athletes must sign the accord to be nominated for the German team at Baku 2015, with the athletes committing themselves to doping-free sport.
The honour and commitment declaration applies to the coaches, trainers, doctors, physiotherapists and all other team staff. Similar to the Olympic Games, they must agree with all anti-doping regulations and acknowledge the Olympic Charter.
The German team will comprise about 300 athletes at Baku 2015 from 12-28 June 2015. The DOSB will nominate its team in the spring.
