Manchester United may not yet have brought anyone into the club during the January transfer window, but one player they’re desperately trying to offload is Anderson – except not a single club have shown any interest in signing him.
The Brazilian midfielder, who moved to Old Trafford in 2007 for £26m, has made just two appearances under Louis van Gaal this season and has been left out in the cold since the end of August.
But despite United’s best attempts, they have been unable to drum up any interest in the 26-year-old, whose career has stalled in recent seasons.
Anderson’s unsuccessful loan spell with Italian side Fiorentina last season has not helped his or his club’s cause and despite the midfielder being openly available for a move, United have not received a single offer for him in this month’s transfer window according to the Guardian.
