Azerbaijani grandmaster Namig Guliyev will compete in the 11th International Open Tournament Vandoeuvre 2014 in France to take place on December 26-30.
Apart from Azerbaijan, the tournament will bring together 203 chess players and 17 grandmasters from Ukraine, India, Turkey, Latvia, Germany, Russia and Belgium.
The Swiss system tournament features 9 rounds.
The strongest Christmas chess tournament in France will be valid for FIDE and national Elo.
