Worries about the singer taking to the stage in Sao Paulo were elayed yesterday when it was announced that the ‘production issues’ stopping J-Lo from taking part had been sorted and she would indeed be taking to the stage – AKA a giant flower that would fold up into a football. Clever.
Singing amongst dancers dressed as the Amazonian rainforest, Jen performed alongside old pal Pitbull and fellow songstress Claudia Leitte as they belted out the official World Cup track We Are One (Ole Ola). After a beast of a backlash for saying she wouldn’t perform, she took to the stage clad in a daring green sequinned leotard, she did her thing and kicked the tournament off with a bang.
