Vice-Speaker of the Parliament: We have our own standards

"Today when we talk about the west, one understands the gendarme. They took in hand the international policy, international law and use it how they want.", said Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov at the Parliament’s meeting, reports.

Asgarov: "Their motto is: we have power and the resource is ours. Touching the issues on justice, equality, and security they say that we must settle it ourselves."

The vice-speaker said that there are very serious pressures to Azerbaijan on the implement of "Nabucco" project: "Using it, they want to get additional discounts from Azerbaijan. When they can’t get it, if there is pressure to Azerbaijan under cover of democracy, human rights, it is non-mannishly. There is no courage in the international world. Despite it, we have our own standards".
