Education Ministry has held a board meeting on the implementation of "The national strategy on increasing transparency and struggling corruption (2007-2011)", the Ministry told SIA.
According to Education Minister Misir Mardanov, 288 out of 1815, who participated in the computer-based exam for vacancies at schools, were employed in 2010-2011, new mechanism was applied in the appointment of directors of comprehensive schools. Misir Mardanov said 108 education workers were discharged, including 4 chiefs of regional education departments, 72 school directors, 5 deputy directors, 1 chairman of non-school institution, 6 directors of vocational schools, 1 university teacher, 10 kindergarten directors, 9 chief accountants, 41 were reprimanded strictly, 115 were reprimanded.
Education Minister gave instructions and recommendations to the participants of the meeting.
