"Poverty, social problems and other factors are main reasons of early marriages of girls. Considering rapid development of Azerbaijan, child marriage is unacceptable. Before the conference we held several consultations with youth on this issue. Youth also is displeased over it. Accepting the law raising marriage age from 17 to 18 by Azerbaijani Parliament is praiseworthy." said Andro Shilakadze.
