The father of a newborn baby in the US has been killed while speeding to the hospital to try to make it to the labour ward in time for the birth. SIA reports quoting the local media that Crystal Matrau-Belt, 24, did not know until after she gave birth that her fiancé and her mother had been killed in a crash on the way to the hospital.
"I got a text from (her fiancé, Emil Skokan) saying "Do you want me to bring up anything?" Crystal told reporters, ‘and I just said "I’ll meet you up there" and he said that he loved me".
