A number of celebrities have taken to their social media pages to posts their thoughts and support for Paris after the city came under attack and saw more than 150 of its inhabitants killed.
Following the attacks, which saw gunman target a rock concert at the Bataclan theatre and a restaurant outside the Stade de France where the country’s football team was playing against Germany, many celebrities took to their Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to acknowledge the horrific shootings.
David Beckham, who once lived in Paris when he played for football team Paris Saint-Germain, took to his Instagram on Saturday morning posting a picture of the Parisian skyline writing: "As the sun rises in this beautiful city we remember the people that have died and the families that have lost loved ones... Our thoughts are with you all... PrayForParis."
