The National Nuclear Research Centre (NNRC) CJSC established under the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) by Order No. 442 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated May 8, 2014. The NNRC carries out a wide range of work in the country in the areas of nuclear science, development of nuclear and radiation technologies for peaceful purposes, including research nuclear reactor, the improvement of material and technical base, increases the capacity of highly qualified personnel, studies the experience of the developed countries, and cooperates with them.
In this context, a delegation from Rosatom State Nuclear Corporation of the Russian Federation visited NNRC CJSC and has also held several meetings.
The guests familiarized themselves with the company’s infrastructure and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest. The delegation was also received by Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizadeh.
Professor M.A. Litvinov, head of delegation of the Russian Federation, presented the badge "For the development of international cooperation in the nuclear field" of Rosatom State Nuclear Corporation of the Russian Federation to academician A.A.Garibov, NNRC CJSC chairman.
