A young boy has finally had his hair cut after vowing to grow it for a cancer patient.
Christian McPhilamy, from Melbourne, Florida, endured taunts from classmates and sometimes adults as a result of his long blond hair with many calling him a girl.
But Christian had been touched by an advert for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital when he was six and it was with that in mind that he ignored the haters.
The charity, based in Michigan, provides a free hair piece every year for children who have lost their hair through things like cancer and burns.
