One such alleged burglar, Guillermo Brambila Lopez, was found naked in one of his victims’ homes after breaking in and drinking their alcohol, SIA reports with refrence to Metro.
Police were called to a house in Salem, Oregon, after receiving a 911 call from a woman who was house-sitting.
She was woken up by noise coming from the laundry room but when she went to check it out the door slammed.
So she grabbed a knife, called her husband and the police.
When they arrived, they found the man naked, believed to be Mr Lopez, and arrested him without incident.
Investigators determined that he climbed in through a back window after removing a screen.
They also noticed that screens had been removed from windows at a neighbour’s home.
Police say the suspect had also targeted that home, drank the homeowner’s alcohol and using the hot tub and shower.
