According to the General Plan of Ganja, a number of private houses in the center of the city will be demolished, said Elmar Valiyev, the head of Ganja City Executive Authorities, SIA reported.
Some private houses around "Ganja Bazaar" OJSC will be demolished and multi-storey buildings will soon replace them, said Valiyev.
"Ganja has a general plan. The bazaar in the center of the city will be moved to somewhere else. The construction of a new bazaar is already underway. The private houses around this area will be demolished, on the condition owners of those houses will be provided with alternative houses," he noted.
