Economic workshop "GREENEVO - Accelerator of Green Technologies" has been conducted in Baku.
At the seminar, attended by reps of 14 Polish and 40 Azerbaijani companies, the Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Michal Labenda stated that today both Azerbaijan and Poland are interested in the application of green technologies.
"Our countries have authorized organizations for this, and we look forward to establish mutual exchange of technologies in such fields as alternative energy and renewable energy, conservation and environmental measures, waste management," he said.
Deputy minister for industry and energy Gulmammad Javadov stressed that both countries were interested in application of green technologies in the ecology and non-oil sectors.
In this sphere, Poland acts through program GREENEVO and holds regular seminars in Baku similar to today’s one.
As stated, the sides "have a number of their own patents and technologies, and are ready to arrange their transfer to each other," Labenda said.
In 2013, the seminar bears more focused nature. The Polish side believes that it has managed to gather for it just those who are interested in such cooperation.
