Turkish newspaper Hurriyet has widely highlighted the distribution of apartments to Azerbaijani journalists in an article under heading "In the world there is no second such practice".
The popular edition writes that the government of Azerbaijan in the 138th anniversary of the Day of National Press gave apartments to 150 journalists.
Hurriyet notes that the ceremony of distribution of apartments was attended by President Ilham Aliyev, who noted that this initiative is being implemented for the first time in world practice.
The president pointed out that among the journalists who received an apartment in the building there are representatives of various press organs, people with different political views.
In this context, the publication quoted President Ilham Aliyev, who stressed that "the distribution held here again demonstrates that in Azerbaijan discrimination is not and will not be allowed in any field".
