Azerbaijani Consul General to Dubai Parviz Ismayilzade has met with Ahmed Butti Ahmed, Executive Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone, and Director General of Dubai Customs.
Ismayilzade hailed relations between the two countries as "rapidly developing in last years".
"The establishment of Azerbaijan`s Consulate General in Dubai and the opening of the first and only foreign representation of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Baku illustrate our close ties," he added.
Ismayilzade said ongoing socio-economic reforms under Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had created favorable opportunities for business and investment in the country.
Butti Ahmed praised Azerbaijan`s rapid development, and expressed his wish to visit the country.
They discussed the issues of export of Azerbaijani food, agriculture products and national brands to Dubai.
