For the present, the poverty rate in Azerbaijan is 4 times lower than world level, said the Chairman of Central Bank Elman Rustamov at the Annual Conference of Parliamentary Network of World Bank and International Monetary Fund in Baku.
He noted that the poverty level in Azerbaijan makes 6%, world level – 21%. CB Chairman also noted that Azerbaijan’s economy tripled, strategic currency stocks is over 70% of GDP.
