At least three months are needed to prepare for application of a single pass card on public overground transport in Baku.
The statement came from spokesman for the Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan Namik Hasanov.
He also said that the preparation work was launched in December and will continue at least by late February 2013.
"Thus, the transport fee will possible be paid through pass cards on passenger buses of separate routes in Baku in no earlier than March of 2013.
This innovation will gradually be introduced on the passenger buses on all routes", Hasanov said.
