On 2 August, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of a new building of secondary school No 85 named after R.Abdinova in the settlement of Yeni Surakhani.
The head of Executive Power of Baku Hajibala Abutalibov informed the president that 480 can study in the new building, according to the official website of the president.
Overall, the school consists of three buildings which can educate 840 pupils simultaneously.
It was noted that the offices of physics and chemistry are equipped with modern equipment. It's planned prior to the beginning of the school year to build a sports and assembly halls and dining room.
