Internet tariffs in Azerbaijan correspond to worldwide indices.
The statement came from Azerbaijani IT Minister Ali Abbasov.
According to the minister, Internet tariffs make up 1% of average salary in some countries.
"In other countries, this figure shows from 5% to 25% while in
Azerbaijan – 4.5%. Moreover, users can purchase high-speed access at a
reasonable price," Abbasov said.
The minister noted that Azerbaijan currently works on applying 4G which ‘will cause Internet tariffs to cheap even more’.
