The fare in Baku metro will increase by 33% from December 1, 2011.
Passenger transportation service tariffs in Baku Metro were also considered at the latest meeting of Tariff Council: "As it known, Perspective Development Plan of Baku Metro was developed for improvement of passenger transportation system and reduction of traffic tension. Plan covers increase of length of lines and number of stations in Baku, by 2030. Cheap tariff policy in accordance to social purposes was considered as priority and fare in Baku Metro made AZN 0.20".
