President has a special instruction on indexation and return of deposits of population.
It was announced by Finance Minister of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov in his address to the Parliament.
There is also a related bill, he recalled.
"We will improve and submit this bill to the parliament soon. If the Parliament rejects the bill, it will be impossible to issue the deposits back the next year. But if the Parliament adopts the bill, the 2012 state budget has funds to return these deposits."
Deposits have already been returned to population in some of the former Soviet countries. But there are certain delays and serious problems in this process, the minister added.
"We want to put forward a bill so that deposits will not lose their value when they are returned as in some countries."
