Hollywood star George Clooney is in Edinburgh after accepting an invitation to visit a sandwich shop which helps homeless people.
The actor is visiting the Social Bite cafe, which donates all its profits to homeless people.
Heather McGowan, 32, from Glasgow, won a competition to meet the star for lunch held at a secret location.
He will then speak at the Scottish Business Awards at the city's international conference centre.
He will speak in front of a sold-out 2,000-strong audience.
Clooney was last known to be in Scotland in 2005 when he presented Live 8 Edinburgh.
