Cathriona White's mother (Jim Carrey's late girlfriend) has spoken out about the loss of her daughter for the first time. In an interview with Peoplemagazine, Brigid Sweetman described the note that she left on her daughter's grave: "it said if I could hold her just once again, I would never let her go."
Brigid, whose daughter took her own life on 28 September at her Los Angeles home, said: "When I heard she died like that, I couldn't believe it."
The 55-year-old added that her make-up artist daughter had told her she loved living in the US and planned to stay there.
