Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter have been as discreet as ever when it comes to their newborn son,announcing his birth with the minimum of fuss in June. Now it is being reported that they have named him Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch.
Christopher is the name of a character whom the actor portrayed in a Tom Stoppard play. Meanwhile, Carlton is a family middle name given to Benedict himself, his father and grandfather.
