That should end the speculation once and for all; a new photo showing Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger sharing a kiss seems to have confirmed the couple are dating. On Thursday evening, Miley and Patrick, both 21, were photographed locking lips while hanging out together at a USC football game in LA.
It comes after weeks of rumours that the pair have started a new romance - and just one night before, they were spotted huddled together outside a cinema after a screening of Still Alice in Hollywood.
Patrick – the handsome son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver – has had a long-time crush on singer Miley.
Back in May 2011, when asked about his dating prospects by Details magazine, the model, previously linked to the likes of Taylor Swift and Tootsie Burns, admitted, "My eye, though, is set on Miley."
The couple are thought to have had a brief romance later in 2011, while Miley was on a break from her then-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. They then reconnected this year, with insiders telling US Weekly that the stars have been quietly dating for "several months".
"They have been friends for a long time," a source said. "They have a ton of common friends, so they have run in the same circles for years."
"She thinks he's hot, she thinks he's cool," a friend of Miley's told US. "Patrick is a nice good guy. He's grown up in Hollywood just like her and it was only a matter of time before they hooked up."
