President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received special representative of the Iranian President for Caspian affairs Mohammad Mehdi Akhundzadeh.
They discussed bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran and the current state of the ongoing talks to prepare legal status of the Caspian Sea.
The parties underlined the importance of the summit of Heads of State of Caspian countries held in Baku.
