Helsinki Association published its annual report on human rights in Armenia during 2010. The report particularly noted that in 2010, human rights and fundamental freedoms in Armenia were grossly violated. According to the report, the Armenian authorities have ignored the recommendations of the 1609 N PACE resolutions. 9 Armenian activists of March 2008 events are currently in prisons. The Association is also sounding the alarm about conditions in the prisons. According to estimates of association, these conditions do not meet international standards.The report of Helsinki Association also criticizes the of Armenia’s judicial system, noting that "it fulfills the orders of the authorities".
