"Our views concerning the recent incident on the frontline cause some reactions in Armenia. First of all we must think why the incidents like its happen. Approximately 100,000 servicemen serve in Azerbaijani Armed Forces, it makes up 1.1% of the population. One fifth of the budget means that social position, soldier-officer relations must be on the legal level. This is the traditional policy of the head of state," member of the parliament’s committee on security and defense Zahid Oruj told journalists.
"About 500 people died on the frontline regions, in the army in the recent six years. 300 of them are non-battle casualties. We should take this into consideration. These issues in the military system should be solved so that the funds allocated for the army, steps taken for its security by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief turn into the real military force. Defense Ministry is the only agency that has not discussed President’s instructions concerning the measures against corruption and bribery," he noted
